ABA Boston Wrap-Up

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth at the ABA Conference in Boston last month. It was great to see so many familiar faces and catch up with everyone. WOW did we meet a lot of new people!! A few of the breakout sessions talked about LDI and featured some of our scan images. It was great to see how positive the community is about the LDI and the benefit of using Moor systems. We had a lot of traffic and excitement around the moorLDLS-BI rapid line scanning burn assessment system we had on display. The line scanner uses a line of laser light to sweep quickly across the tissue, building the blood flow map.

Our newest team member Anne Marie Shields and President, Tim Brown were busy giving demonstrations and answering questions. There was a lot of positive feedback about our systems. We love to hear that! Our customers are very important to us and we appreciate their business. We strive to get feedback and constantly improve the quality of both our systems and our software. We are part of a great team!

The conference was well attended with plenty of social time for meet and greets. The student posters were amazing! We sat in on a few of the student presentations and we are confident about the next generation of burn doctors. So many new theories and approaches to care, and we are confident we will grow and change to support and work with the generations to come.

We took some downtime to check out Boston. Although it was quite chilly and windy we walked all over the beautiful city. We went to Fenway Park, home of the Red Sox. We were a week early for baseball season, but it was exciting to see the oldest ballpark in the MLB. The stadium has been at 4 Yawkey Way near Kenmore Square since 1912!

We hope everyone had a great time in Boston and safe trip home. We will see you next year in Chicago! It’s the ABA 50TH Annual Meeting and we wouldn’t miss it!
