{"id":25364,"date":"2017-07-18T09:23:15","date_gmt":"2017-07-18T09:23:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.moorclinical.com\/news\/nice-mtg2-update-2017\/"},"modified":"2017-07-18T09:23:15","modified_gmt":"2017-07-18T09:23:15","slug":"nice-mtg2-update-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.moorclinical.com\/en-us\/news\/nice-mtg2-update-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"NICE MTG2 Update \u2013 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a recent review NICE have updated the MTG2 guidance for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moorclinical.com\/en-us\/products\/imaging\/single-point-laser-doppler\/\">moorLDI2-BI<\/a> system for burn assessment in the NHS, the addition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moorclinical.com\/en-us\/products\/imaging\/line-imaging\/\">moorLDLS-BI<\/a> rapid line scanner was highlighted:<\/p>\n<p>Technology availability and changes<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA new laser Doppler burn imager, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moorclinical.com\/en-us\/products\/imaging\/line-imaging\/\">moorLDLS-BI<\/a> has been developed which uses a line scanning approach to minimize scan time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHoeksema et al. (2014) is an updated publication of Hoeksema et al. (2011). 596 burns from 204 patients were included in the analysis. An accuracy of 94.2% was found with use of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moorclinical.com\/en-us\/products\/imaging\/line-imaging\/\">LDLS<\/a> compared with 94.4% for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moorclinical.com\/en-us\/products\/imaging\/single-point-laser-doppler\/\">moorLDI2-BI<\/a>. The results showed that the accuracy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moorclinical.com\/en-us\/products\/imaging\/line-imaging\/\">LDLS<\/a> line-scan imager was comparable to that of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moorclinical.com\/en-us\/products\/imaging\/single-point-laser-doppler\/\">moorLDI2-BI<\/a>.
