Find out how LDI burn imaging began, how it has progressed and where we are today:<\/p>\n<p>Some very interesting points were made, a few are seen here.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe most experienced LDI users all report being convinced that it is actually impossible to make optimal treatment choices for each individual burn patient without help of LDI and they agree that nothing has been more crucial to improve their quality of burn care, resulting in optimal long-term quality of life for burned patients.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2026high accuracy and the faster assessment of burn wounds, LDI actually reduces costs as well as workload\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLDI is a powerful diagnostic tool for the very wide range of clinically intermediate depth burns, where it can distinguish between superficial partial, deep partial, and full thickness dermal burns.
