If you attended the British Burn Association in Leeds this year then you would have had the opportunity to listen to Professor Peter Dziewulski, St Andrew’s Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery in Broomfield Hospital and currently on secondment in Teas, present the Wallace Lecture entitled “Sometimes Wrong, Never in Doubt – Reflections of a Burns Surgeon”.

This year was an informative, interesting (and entertaining!) lecture in which I am sure, many of us learned a thing or 2 not only about the History of A.B. Wallace but also ‘facts’ such as humans are made up of 110 trillion cells, of which only about 10% are human! Professor – we wish you well in Texas and look forward to hearing more from you in the future.

Next year we look forward to the ISBI which will be held in Birmingham in the UK – if you are attending and presenting work with your moor burn imaging system contact us, we’d love to hear about it.
