Moor Instruments were honoured to sponsor and attend the Katie Piper Foundation annual key supporters lunch on the 4th of December.
The event was held at the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons in London and saw many supporters in attendance including, Burns and Plastic Surgeons, trustees, beneficiaries (and more) and was hosted by the inspirational founder of the charity, Katie Piper.
The Katie Piper Foundation have a strong vision: A world where scars do not limit a person’s function, social inclusion or sense of well being.
They work extremely hard to help people with burns, scars and disfigurement to reconnect with their lives and their communities. We had the opportunity to hear first hand how this charity have supported and changed the lives of many people who have suffered horrific injuries as a result of being burned. We wish them every success for continued growth for the remainder of 2013 and beyond!
