New article ‘In Press’ adds further weight to the evidence for the use of laser Doppler imaging to aid the reduction in the incidence of hypertrophic scarring:

“Earlier surgical treatment than current practice, guided by laser imaging or other novel modalities of burn depth assessment, aiming complete healing in less than 3 weeks may provide superior outcomes and should be the primary aim of future research.”
