We’re pleased to highlight again the work of a great UK charitable organisation – The Children’s Burns Trust.
Every year, the CBT raise awareness of basic burn prevention and also help educate with pointers on how to treat burn injuries in a first aid situation on National Burn Awareness Day, this year on October 11th.
Their work is important because there is still, on average, 30 children a day burned by hot drinks which could be reduced through better education on prevention.
Take a look here for resources available from the Children’s Burns trust.
The treatment information provided by the NHS here is also a recommended 5 minute read – techniques which hopefully you will never need to use.
The National burn Awareness Day is coming soon, October 11th and we wish the CBT all the best in spreading their message far and wide.
